Dear TC-11 member,



* There will be a TC-11 meeting at the 8th IWFHR as

  a lunch meeting on Thursday 8th of August.

  If you have more suggestions for the agenda,

  please do note hesitate to send them to me.

  Please register in advance at the desk if you want 

  to attend this meeting (max. 32 persons).



* Furthermore, I would like to draw you attention

  to the fact that my two years as chairmain are

  nearing their end. No hints for succession have

  reached me at this point, so:



  - I will be happy to serve another (last) 2-yrs. term as chairman,



  - but will also gladly forward to the ExCo of the IAPR all nominations 

    that will reach me before next Sunday (preferably until Thursday 8th 

    of August, when I can read my email).



   Nomination format:



        o A brief technical biography (similar to what appears at 

         the end of a journal article).

 

        o A brief statement of interest by the nominee expressing 

          availability and commitment along with a specific plan of 

          activities for the next two years.



* There will be a plenary meeting of TC Chairs on Sunday evening at the ICPR.

  This meeting is open to volunteers who have an interest in chairing

  a TC in the future. Please contact me if you are interested.
