A three legged crow from the ancient Chinese myth.
In ancient China, the sun was thought to have the appearance of a crow, which flew with the sun on its back.
Sam-jok-oh often flew down to the earth to eat the spiritual grass. While Hee-hwa (the god of the sun) moved the sun from east to west during day, it is told that He covered its eyes with his hands in order to prevent it from flying down to the earth. It was also thought to serve meals for the West Emperor's mother. It is often found on a stone-drawing of the Han Dynasty that Sam-jok-oh's serve West Emperor's mother.
